Cincinnati Bengals tickets are now available through sources other than the team’s box office or ticket brokers.
StubHub, the fans' ticket marketplace, has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal to become the team's exclusive secondary ticketing partner for Bengals tickets. The addition of the Bengals expands StubHub's depth chart of official NFL team partners to seven that already includes the Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, San Diego Chargers, Detroit Lions and Houston Texans.
"The Bengals look forward to promoting StubHub as our newest team partner," said Vince Cicero, the team's director of corporate sales and marketing. "StubHub provides a complete solution that will provide our fans with a safe and convenient place to buy and sell tickets for Bengals games."
Season ticket holders are often unable to attend every single regular season game. By posting unused tickets for sale via StubHub, more fans can choose to sit in the best seat locations, while the season ticket holder can recoup an otherwise lost opportunity. When unusable Bengals tickets are resold, teams benefit by having passionate fans in the seats supporting the team.
"StubHub provides me a great avenue to offer my tickets to other Bengals fans for the games that I am occasionally unable to attend," said David Scott, a season ticket holder. "The selling process is simple and allows easy access to list that other sites do not. As a season ticket holder, I am inclined to work with a preferred team partner."
"StubHub is looking forward to providing all fans team-endorsed access to our open marketplace where anyone can buy or sell tickets without restriction," said Jeff Fluhr, CEO of StubHub. "In addition to providing the broadest selection of tickets and fair market value pricing, the fans of this great franchise will receive the highest levels of customer service with all purchases backed by our FanProtect Guarantee."
StubHub's personal touch customer service and FanProtect Guarantee will be of key interest to the legions of new fans using the marketplace for the first time this coming season. Both elements differentiate StubHub from other secondary ticket options such as auction or bulletin board sites. The FanProtect Guarantee ensures that every customer both buyers and sellers will receive the service promised to them or their money back. Seven day a week customer service allows users to call in with any questions are issues they may have for immediate resolution.
